CDL Driver

Job Summary

We specialize in the design, installation, service, and maintenance of commercial and industrial projects. As a design-build leader, our team has constructed and maintained mechanical systems for a wide variety of high-profile clients, including hospitals, data centers, manufacturers, hotels, universities, office buildings, and more. Driving and loading and unloading of materials at various job sites and CCI yard. Assists with maintaining the warehouse and yard.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Practice and adhere to the "CCI Way"
• Comfortable driving a flatbed, truck and trailer or box truck, and can do so safely.
• Conducts a thorough pre-trip inspection of the equipment assigned as prescribed by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and the company.
• Loading HVAC and other related materials for delivery to jobsites and other customer locations.
• Assisting with unloading materials at construction job sites.
• Must have a Utah DOT medical card or be able to obtain one.
• Help maintain warehouse and yard.
• Has the ability to understand and carry-out directions from leads and field supervisors.
• Is mechanically adept and knows how to safely use tools and equipment.
• Is professional in appearance and in manners.
• Has good oral and written communication skills.
• Can pre-plan small assignments.
• Self-Starter
• Can analyze assignments for correct tool, supply, and equipment requirements, as well as small parts and product pulls from warehouse.
• Perform other duties as required

Qualifications

Physical Demands

Requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping and stretching. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate required construction equipment including tools, ladders, forklift, etc. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare and communicate reports. Requires lifting up to 75 pounds occasionally. Work is performed at construction sites both indoors and outdoors throughout the year.
