FTE : 1.000000 Standard Hours : 40.00 Shift : Shift 2 Shift Details : 1 : 45 pm - 10 pm; off days to be determined Holidays : yes Weekends : yes Job Summary : The primary function of this position is to staff the 24-hour Security Operations Center (SOC). The SOC handles emergency and non-emergency communications from security staff, hospital staff, law enforcement, visitors, and other emergency services via radio, telephone, computer, email, camera, in-person, or via any other medium. Vital functions of this position include : customer service, multi-line phone management, Computer-aided Dispatch (CAD) documentation, and effective, timely communication. Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience Description : Prior security, dispatcher or other relevant experience or education is required. Computer-aided Dispatch system experience is preferred. Prior dispatch experience in mid-sized department / emergency services, preferred.

Education Description : High School diploma or equivalent is required. College is preferred.

Training Description : ICS training, TERT certification, IAHSS Certification, HAM radio operator Training may be site specific.

Special Skills Description : Ability to work in a fast paced demanding environment. Ability to multi-task. Excellent customer service skills. Computer literate.
