Job descriptionEducation : Ahighschooldiplomaorequivalentistypicallyrequired;anassociatedegreeinaccountingorfinanceispreferred. Experience : Previousexperienceinaccountspayableorarelatedfield,preferablywithintheautomotiveindustry,isadvantageous. Skills : Strongattentiontodetail,excellentorganizationalskills,andproficiencyinaccountingsoftwareareessential.Goodcommunicationskillsarealsoimportantforvendorinteractions. This role will be within a family owned and operated Automotive Dealership.
KeyResponsibilities
- CompileandMaintainRecords : Compileandmaintainverifiedaccountspayablerecords,ensuringaccuracyandcompliancewithdealershippolicies.
- ReconcileStatements : Reconcilevendorstatementsandaccounts,ensuringthatallpaymentsareconsistentwithdealershipschedules.
- ProcessPayments : Issuepaymentstovendors,prepareaccountspayablechecks,andpostallopenitemsinaccountspayabledaily.
- VendorCommunication : Communicatewithvendorsregardingpaymentinquiriesandresolveanydiscrepanciesinbillingorpayments.
- AssistinMonth-EndClosings : Assistwithmonthlyclosingsandprepareanalysisofaccountsasrequired.
- MaintainFiles : Printandmaintainallaccountspayablereportsandfiles,ensuringtheyareorganizedandaccessibleforauditsorreviews.
- Cashier : Answer phone calls, receive payments, process parts invoices, service repair orders, and setup appointments for the Service Dept. Filing of all service, parts, car sales, and all other documents as deemed necessary by the office manager.
