State Licensed Compliance Counsel

A company is looking for an Absence Management & Compliance Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct ongoing analysis of U.S. federal and state leave laws and translate legal requirements into product specifications

Monitor changes in statutes and recommend updates to product features for compliance

Collaborate with product teams to ensure compliance throughout the development process and provide accurate compliance information to customers

Required Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) and active U.S. bar membership

4+ years of experience with U.S. federal and state employment / leave law compliance

Experience working as embedded product counsel in an agile software development team (preferred)

Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and similar project management tools (preferred)

Knowledge of international or local (non-U.S.) leave law is a bonus
