Job descriptionManage annual spend Consistently deliver annual savings through strategic negotiations and supplier optimization Execute and approve purchase requisitions using procurement platforms such as Coupa Maintain accountability for ongoing supplier performance, compliance, and engagement. Lead quarterly business reviews and serve as the primary point of contact for issue resolution and performance monitoring. Act as an internal subject matter expert in technology negotiations and software procurement best practices. Partner closely with legal, IT, finance, and operations teams to align procurement strategies with organizational goals. Ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements in all supplier engagements. Coupa, SharePoint, Microsoft Office Suite
Job Description
Location : Hybrid – 2 days onsite weekly in Plano, TX 75024 (Legacy West)
Contract Length : 6 months with potential for extension
We are seeking an experienced IT Procurement Specialist adept in Strategic Sourcing for IT /
Technology / Software with a strong background in managing software and professional services suppliers, driving cost savings, negotiating complex contracts, and optimizing supplier relationships across the technology sectors.
Key Responsibilities :
Contract Negotiation & Management :
- Lead end-to-end sourcing and contract lifecycle management for IT software and professional services agreements
- Negotiate terms and conditions, pricing, renewals, and Statements of Work (SOWs) with key internal stakeholders, legal teams, and external vendors
- Initiate and manage RFX processes (RFP, RFI, RFQ) to evaluate new suppliers and services
