First Choice Health Centers is looking for a Certified Nurse Midwife to manage the care of patients in the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods as well as provide non-surgical gynecologic care. and Training : Graduate of accredited Nurse Midwife ProgramBoard Certification through the American Midwifery Certification BoardLicense to practice midwifery in the state of CTFederal and State Controlled Substance LicensesBLS CertificationDuties and ResponsibilitiesInstructs and counsels patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens, normal growth and development, family planning, emotional problems of daily living, and health maintenance. Develops and implements patient management plans, records progress notes, and assists in provision of continuity of care.
