Manager, Commercial Auto Claims

Our Commercial Claims department has an immediate opening for someone who can demonstrate these WCF Insurance values to join their team as a Manager, Commercial Auto Claims. This is a full-time, exempt, hybrid position that works out of WCF's Sandy, Utah headquarters. This posting is open to internal and external candidates.

Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates outside of Utah.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all commercial auto claims, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
• Provide technical guidance on complex and high-exposure auto claims.
• Supervise daily operations of the Auto Claims team, including adjusters and associates, ensuring productivity and quality standards.
• Develop and refine claims handling processes to ensure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency, while maintaining training programs that support career progression into adjuster roles.
• Monitor team performance; provide regular feedback, coaching, and career development opportunities.
• Oversee handling of low-complexity claims and provide technical guidance on complex and high-exposure auto claims.
• Track and analyze KPIs to drive continuous improvement in claims outcomes.
• Oversee litigation strategy and settlement negotiations for auto claims.
• Lead special projects and initiatives to enhance workflow, processes, and customer experience.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will have :

WCF Insurance offers an extensive compensation package. Benefits include Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance, company paid life insurance, 401K with a generous 6% employer match and additional benefits such as an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and time off to volunteer in the local community. All employees earn 4 weeks of vacation in their first year. Expected salary for this position is $100,000 - $125,000 depending on experience   and education .

An internal candidate should have six months in their current position, acceptable job performance, and must notify their current supervisor that they have applied for the position.
