Randstad is currently seeking a Accounts Payable Specialist who is responsible for ensuring the company’s financial obligations to vendors and suppliers are processed accurately and paid in a timely manner. This role provides crucial financial and administrative support to the accounting department.

Responsibilities :

• Apply payments to customer accounts received in various forms. Use problem solving skills to fix accounts. Be able to recognize customer payment patterns and system mishaps. Communicate with other team members.
• Handles customer inquiries and calls relating to their account.
• Posting and applying payments
• Heavy data entry
• FTL payments – verify payments received using the bank transaction report. Remits are sent via email to pos inbox with exception of a few customers
• Lockbox – file sent electronically from bank. Bank supplied images of checks and remits sent in with checks
• Settlement (credit card) – receive file electronically. Must use data pulled from Cybersource to match payments done via Datatel.
• ACH- Daily ACH pulls are done manually using 1Nav, High Radius pulls all remaining accounts automatically on Wednesday. Verify accounts are being pulled properly
• Refunds- process G / Ls for check refunds requested, ACH refunds needs approval then processed in HR, Credit cards refunds done via Cybersource if needed
• Move payments between accounts that were posted incorrectly
• Work cases
• Process ACH rejections and check returns as needed
• Verify First Data / Credit Card Settlemen
