Job Title : Registered Nurse - Infusion Profession : Nursing Specialty : Hematology-Oncology Infusion Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day Hours per Shift : 8 hours (07 : 00 - 15 : 30) Experience : Minimum Years of Experience required License : Active RN License Certifications : ONS Chemo / Bio Card Required Must-Have : - IV skills preferred - Mediport access experience preferred - Pediatric hematology / oncology experience preferred Description : Days - 5x8, 40 hours per week. Two ASAP needs with start dates of December 8 or December 22. Position is in a hematology-oncology infusion suite. The unit has 30 beds / chairs and serves approximately 70 patients per day. Responsibilities include the administration of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood products, and other non-chemotherapy medications. Patient assessment and education are critical components of the role. Managing side effects and providing emotional support to patients are key responsibilities.
