A well-respected health system in New Jersey is seeking an OB / GYN Hospitalist to provide 24-hour backup call coverage. This role ensures continuous hospital coverage and patient safety while supporting the hospitalist team.
About the Opportunity :
Location : New Jersey
Setting : Inpatient - Hospital only
Schedule : Ongoing, flexible 24-hour call shifts
Shift : 24-hour on call (no clinic)
Duration : Ongoing
Responsibilities :
- The OB / GYN Hospitalist will be responsible for :
- Serving as backup support to the primary hospitalist team
- Providing care during surge volume, emergencies, or unplanned absences
- Delivering obstetric and gynecologic care per hospitalist protocols
- Maintaining 24-hour availability during scheduled shifts
- Ensuring compliance with hospital policies and documentation standards
