Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A speech-language pathologist with expertise in pediatrics is needed for an elementary school setting in Portland, OR. This contract position covers a maternity leave and runs from August 25 to March 4, 2026, with a weekly schedule of 37.5 hours.

Qualifications and Experience :

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Experience working with pediatric populations
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or currently completing CFY
  • Knowledge of school-based speech therapy practices

Location :

  • Elementary school in Portland, Oregon

    • Responsibilities :

  • Provide individualized speech-language therapy services to students
  • Assess and evaluate students speech and language development
  • Develop and implement treatment plans appropriate for school-aged children
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
