Contract RN position for a 6S unit.

Shifts are from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM.

No on-call required.

The unit has 34 beds and provides modified total patient care for medical and surgical patients, including surgical oncology.

The staff includes charge nurses, nurses, and patient care technicians.

Patient ratios are 1 nurse to 6 patients.

The unit has advanced telemetry monitoring capabilities.

Candidates must have Med / Surg experience.

Chemotherapy certification is required for performing chemotherapy procedures.

Best fit for the unit are outgoing and team-oriented individuals.

Dress code requires navy scrubs.

The unit has won several awards for excellence in care.

Staff members utilize age-appropriate considerations for patient care.

The unit serves a diverse population from young adults to seniors.

Staffing decisions are made by the nurse manager, director, or charge nurses.
