Facility :

This 600+ bed facility serves as both a Level II Adult Trauma Center and a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center. The neurosurgery practice is well-established and high-volume, consisting of 5 neurosurgeons and 4 advanced practice providers serving both adult and pediatric patients.

Opportunity :

Certified - Neurosurgery Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

Job Details :

• Immediate need for two experienced Neurosurgery PA or NP with First Assist capabilities
• One full-time position (40 hours per week) and one part-time position (two weeks per month minimum)
• Inpatient rounding and first assist in the OR, with no outpatient responsibilities
• Call rotation of 1 : 4 / 5 weekend call responsibility and 1 : 4 / 5 night call responsibility
• Must have active Florida license and current board certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an advanced practice provider in Neurosurgery OR required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Patient encounters per shift vary based on surgical schedule
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 30-60 days
• Position starts ASAP and is ongoing

Compensation :

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
