Job description

ARRT Certified Respiratory Therapist - Full Time

Night Shift / 37.5hr week

  • Up-to $20,000 sign-on bonus / New Grads are welcome to apply

MLR is seeking a candidate to play a crucial role in providing comprehensive respiratory care for patients with various respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions. Your responsibilities will include assessing and treating patients, administering oxygen therapy, managing mechanical ventilation, conducting diagnostic tests, and educating patients and their families about respiratory health.

Responsibilities for a Registered Respiratory Therapist :

  • Provide respiratory therapy services to patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions.
  • Perform diagnostic tests such as spirometry, arterial blood gas analysis, and pulmonary function testing.
  • Assess patients' respiratory status, administer treatments, and monitor their response to therapy.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.

    • Qualifications for a Registered Respiratory Therapist :

  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program with current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in New Jersey.
  • Current BLS Certification required.
  • ACLS Certification & NRP Certification required (within 6 months).
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree from a CoARC accredited Respiratory Care Program.
