This role includes opportunities to advise Meta’s product and business teams on existing and emerging requirements around offering our machine learning and artificial intelligence products for advertisers. An ideal candidate for the role will have product counseling or relevant law firm experience and a solid understanding of AI, data protection, and platform laws and regulations. You should be a clear communicator with a facility for collaborating across functions. You will join a collegial team of lawyers who identify, evaluate and address legal risks in light of emerging laws, compliance obligations and policies.

Base Pay Range

$167,000.00 / yr - $233,000.00 / yr

Responsibilities

• Analyze global products, features, and initiatives and provide practical legal risk mitigation strategies for products across multiple jurisdictions
• Counsel product, engineering and business teams on compliance with existing and emerging AI, data protection, competition, intellectual property and consumer protection laws
• Drive and contribute to high-impact projects with cross-functional stakeholders across business, policy, legal, communications, security, and other cross-functional teams
• Become an expert in AI and advertising legal issues and help build legal frameworks to address risk in these areas
