Slate Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Asheville, North Carolina.

Job Description & Requirements

• Shift : 12 hours, nights

Must have :   candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Telemetry rhythm capabilities,  critical thinking, time management, able to assess med surg level patients and alert Charge RN / Manager / Rapid Response / Provider when acuity level changes.

Good communication. On time for work shifts.

Preferred or nice to have :  candidates with these skills will be considered first.

ACLS

List typical procedures performed on unit(s) :  Iv fluids, tube feeds, peg feedings, Iv antibiotics,

Best personality Fit : Team player. Nurses should be willing to help CNAs and other nurses

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS : BLS

Floating Area(s) : Other med surg units, occasionally, in the holding Pod of ED

Dress Code : Scrub Color / Attire - Navy Blue
