About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Experience : Minimum of 1 year in the Operating Room specialty.

License : SC or Compact RN License required.

Certifications : BLS, radiation badge needs to be provided.

Must-Have : Experience in Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, ENT, GYN, GU, Endocrine, Surgical Oncology, Plastics, Robotics, Total Joints, and ENT.

Description :

Position requires an Ambulatory OR RN.

The shift is 10 hours, from 6 : 30 AM to 5 PM.

Scheduled day off will be determined by department needs, but special requests will be considered when possible.

Scheduled late stays may occur a few times per month.

On-call is not required.

Clinician may float within the scope to meet facility needs, with a possibility of floating within the Perioperative facility.

Candidates must be well-rounded in specialties that align with the caseload.

Travelers may be called off 10 hours per 2-week period.

All request for time off must be included at the time of submission.

Multiple requests for time off within the contract period will be denied.

Unit cares for a variety of patients including Orthopedic surgery patients.

The role involves monitoring patient vital signs through phases of post-anesthesia care.

Nurses work closely with surgeons, anesthesia, and OR nurses in a fast-paced environment.

Surgical block hours are from 7 AM to 5 PM with occasional late stays.

Specialty procedures include knee, shoulder, ankle, wrist, elbow, and hip surgeries.

Standard operating room equipment is utilized including power tools and integrated surgical monitors.

All times and schedules are subject to change based on facility needs and operations.
