Overview
We are seeking experienced DoD / Navy Cost Analysts to support our recently awarded contract supporting the Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR) 1.6 Cost Competency. Successful candidates will have excellent communication, quantitative, research, and analytical skills in addition to the following :
Responsibilities
- Conducting cost analysis and cost estimating in support of Life Cycle Cost Estimates, Analysis of Alternatives (AoA), Business Case Analysis (BCAs), and trade studies
- Developing cost models and implementing cost estimating methodologies
- Providing analytical support for program controls and reporting
- Analyzing and assessing programmatic schedules
Skills Required
At least 6 years of experience in cost estimating, cost analysis, and complex data analysis for DoD program(s) / Program Office(s), agency(ies), or competency organization(s)Professional certification from a recognized professional society or educational organization in the specific career field. ICEAA Certified Cost Estimator / Analyst (CCEA®) strongly preferredHighly proficient in MS Excel along with proficiency in other MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint)Secret level security clearance requiredBachelor's degree required. 24 semester hours of quantitative course work (mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics, chemistry, etc.) required to include three hours of college level calculusAdditional relevant experience desired for applicants includes :
Life cycle cost estimate development and documentationDeveloping cost estimating methodologies, relationships and cost model developmentCost databases (including data collection, validation and normalization techniques)Risk and uncertainty analysisBusiness case, economic analysis, net present value, and cost benefit analysisSchedule development and analysisEVM tools and techniquesSalary : $75,000 - $135,000 (commensurate with experience, qualifications, and credentials)Education
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.
