About The Position

Job Title : Travel RN - Telemetry Profession : Registered Nurse Specialty : Telemetry Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 07 : 00 - 19 : 00 Hours per Shift : 12 Experience : Minimum 2 years License : Registered Nurse license required Certifications : BLS, ACLS Must-Have : Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Description : Travel RN position available in a telemetry unit. The unit comprises 37 beds. There are 12 staff members on the unit. Day Shift has 8 RNs, 3 Patient Care Techs, and 1 Unit Clerk. Night Shift also has 8 RNs and 3 Patient Care Techs. Patient ratios are estimated at 1 : 6, with 1 : 4 for heart catheter patients. Equipment includes PCA pumps, IV pumps, and chest tubes. EMR system used is Meditech. Candidates should possess strong critical thinking skills. A positive attitude and engagement are essential qualities. Typical procedures performed include central lines, medication drips, heart catheter recovery, and bubble studies. This unit offers a collegial environment with experienced staff and opportunities for professional growth.
