VHS is looking for an OB / GYN Hospitalist for Sedalia, MO!

OB / GYNs Required to Perform Circumcisions : No

OB / GYNs Needed for First Assist : Yes

Backup Available to the MHAS Physicians : Yes; General Surgeons available.

2 to 3 Providers in clinic daily.

Program Objectives :

Provide clinic and L&D support to ensure consistent high-quality care.

Expand access to care for women in the community by providing 24 / 7 quality driven, safe, and effective care for the community. Hospital Details

• MHAS Providers in clinic M-T, 8a-5p, and on-call after hours.
• Only on call Saturday and Sunday.
• Total Hospital Deliveries (monthly avg.) : 38
• Total Hospital Deliveries (annual avg.) : 456
• Total Hospital / Clinic GYN Surgery Volume (monthly avg.) : 55
• Total Hospital / Clinic GYN Surgery Volume (annual avg.) : 661
• Nursery Level 2
• Anesthesia : On-Call 24 / 7
• MFM : Ability to consult MFM, but no telemedicine service
• Fetal Monitoring System : GE
• EMR used in Hospital : Meditech
• EMR used in Clinic : Meditech Web Ambulatory
• Current OR days for Clinicians : Monday AM, Wednesday AM, Friday
