Position Summary :
As a Building Automation Controls Technician II, you'll be responsible for installing, commissioning, and troubleshooting building unit controllers and Facility Management Systems. You’ll communicate design specifications to our team and customers, and act as a technical resource for Controls Technician I. This role may require additional hours during peak demand periods and includes occasional on-call duties.
Responsibilities :
Ensure quality and efficiency in system design and execution
Perform system commissioning and troubleshooting
Work with various control systems (Trane, JCI, Siemens, Carrier, Niagara)
Integrate multiple control devices into the Niagara platform
Complete all required commissioning documentation
Mentor junior technicians
Requirements :
5-10 years of experience with HVAC Controls and integration
Niagara certification with at least 5 years of related experience
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems (Boilers, Chillers, RTUs, AHUs, and VAVs) and building automation controls
Understanding of BACnet, Modbus, and Lon protocols
Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
Physical Demands :
Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs, climb stairs / ladders, and work in various physical positions
Ability to work at heights and in tight spaces
Compensation : $40-$45 / hour, based on experience
