Job Overview
The Proposal Specialist provides leadership over proposal pursuit efforts, partnering with other members of the team as needed to complete tasks successfully.
Job Description
- Reviews and interprets small to medium-sized RFPs / RFQs, addressing key elements with the pursuit team
- Develops and drives the proposal management schedule, establishes priorities, documents, and tracks team task assignments, and keeps team accountable to internal and external deadlines
- Writes / tailors new and existing materials (resumes, bios, project descriptions, etc.) to provide the most competitive RFP responses
- Facilitates kick-off call and all color reviews
- Makes certain that the proposal is free of grammar, spelling, and typographical errors
- Confirms the quality and compliance of final proposal documents; and ensures timely proposal production and delivery
- Develops, manages, researches, and responds to data requests
Qualifications
Technical Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or related fieldsMinimum 3 years of prior work experience in proposals - engineering or construction industry a plusExcellent oral and written communication skillsMust be proficient in MS Office, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Acrobat ProStrong proofreading, formatting, writing, and editing skillsExperience with OpenAsset and / or Dynamics a plus, but not requiredRequired Soft Skills :
