Labor & Delivery RN Job Details Location : Tucson, Arizona 85747 Healthcare Setting : LDRP Unit (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) Contract Length : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 17 / 2025 – End : 2 / 16 / 2026) Nursing Shift : Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (19 : 00 – 07 : 30) Hours per Week : 36 Weekend Requirement : 4 weekend shifts per 4 weeks Orientation : 8 hours, multiple upcoming dates Charting System : EPIC Patient Population : Neonates, Adolescents, Adults Unit Size : 6 LDRP beds, 3 triage beds, 2 NST rooms, 9 total beds Estimated Weekly Salary : $2130–$2190 Labor & Delivery RN Qualifications Minimum 3 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience Active Arizona RN license or Compact RN license BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate / Advanced, FHM certifications required Proficiency with EPIC charting system Ability to float to other hospital units as needed Weekend and holiday coverage required One supervisory reference required First-time travel nurses accepted (with relevant experience) No local candidates within 50 miles Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive patient care throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum phases Assist with high-risk deliveries, C-sections, and neonatal resuscitation Perform patient assessments, administer medications, and manage IVs Support breastfeeding and provide discharge education to parents Utilize cableless Phillips monitors and advanced medical equipment Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including OBGYNs, anesthesia, pharmacy, and rapid response Maintain accurate clinical documentation using EPIC Float to other units to support hospital operations as needed Discover your next travel nursing opportunity in Tucson, Arizona!
