Job descriptionAct as an industry thought leader, producing white papers and contributing to public discussions. Represent ISI at industry working groups, conferences, and associationsincluding speaking engagements and board participation. Communicate ISI's vision, mission, and values to external audiences. Serve as ISI's primary liaison with DCSA and other government security stakeholders. Build strong relationships with government and industry partners to position ISI as a thought leader in industrial security. Leverage and expand ISI's network of relationships with Primes and other key industry leaders. Contribute to the development and execution of new products and services that meet the evolving needs of our government clientsexpanding ISI's focus beyond FSO services to broader defense security and compliance solutions. Partner with business development and client-facing teams to support capture, proposal, and contract execution activities requiring security expertise. Anticipate the security needs of a growing enterprise and ensure systems and structures scale with business expansion. Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or specialized security certifications (e.g., ISP, CPP, CISSP) preferred. Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in industrial security, with senior leadership roles in large firms. Experience working at large prime contractors, ideally multiple. Experience managing or overseeing possessing / safeguarding facilities. Familiarity with CMMC requirements and implementation. Demonstrated experience engaging directly with DCSA and other federal security organizations. Strong presence within industry groups, associations, or security forums; proven ability to serve as a public-facing representative. Significant professional network within the defense and industrial security community. Experience balancing compliance rigor with the agility of a fast-growing business environment. Expertise in key areas of industrial security, including FOCI, ITAR, and Public Trust, as well as physical security programs. Active Top Secret Clearance. Vice President of Industrial Security

We are seeking a Vice President of Industrial Security to serve as a strategic driver of security excellence across ISI and our clients.
We believe ISI can become the go-to advisor for Facility Security Officers (FSOs) and Chief Security Officers (CSOs) within the defense industry. The VP of Industrial Security will help lead the establishment and execution of this strategy.
The candidate will represent the company publicly, and we will utilize social media to position them as a leading industry expert on DIB security and compliance issues.
Position Overview
The VP of Industrial Security will serve as a senior security leader within ISI. This role is both strategic and outward-facing. They must ensure ISI meets its security and compliance requirements, act as an expert for our clients, and represent ISI as a visible and respected leader within the broader security industry.
The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of federal and industrial security, a proven track record of leading programs at large firms, and the agility to thrive in a fast-growing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Security Leadership
- Develop and execute ISI's enterprise-wide security strategy covering personnel, physical, and information security.
- Serve as ISI's FSO of record, leading a small team that manages administrative responsibilities.
- Oversee compliance with NISPOM, DCSA, and all relevant federal regulations.
- Advise the executive team and Board on emerging threats, risks, and compliance requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement in security practices through benchmarking and adoption of best-in-class solutions.
- Serve as the primary POC for incidents, ensuring all situations are handled in accordance with NISPOM and other industry standards.
