Plastic Surgeon

Overview

Job Summary : Micro-surgery fellowship-trained surgeon will support development of autologous breast reconstruction program and reconstructive needs of trauma and cancer centers. Provide Plastic Surgery coverage for Upstate Hospital (Downtown Campus), Community Campus, Crouse Hospital and outpatient care for patients at University Surgical Associates LLP locations. Will be expected to participate in medical student, resident and continuing medical education activities. This includes didactic lectures, departmental conferences, CME programs, teaching rounds and other routine educational activities within the Department of Surgery.

Responsibilities

• Provide Plastic Surgery coverage for Upstate Medical University hospitals and outpatient locations as listed.
• Support development of the autologous breast reconstruction program.
• Address reconstructive needs of trauma and cancer patients across affiliated centers.
• Participate in medical student, resident and continuing medical education activities, including didactic lectures, departmental conferences, CME programs, teaching rounds and related educational activities within the Department of Surgery.
