Behavioral Health Therapist Job Description
The Behavioral Health Therapist is a crucial member of our interdisciplinary team, responsible for providing high-quality clinical services to patients in various settings.
Job Responsibilities :
Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.
Provide evidence-based interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing, to support patients' mental health and well-being.
Collaborate with primary care providers and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
Monitor patients' progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and maintain accurate records of their care.
Required Qualifications :
Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
Licensure to practice as an Independent Social Worker (LISW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
At least 3 years of experience in treating patients with behavioral health conditions.
Experience working in primary care or medical behavioral integrated settings.
