Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist Job Details

End Date : April 13, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week

Estimated Weekly Pay : $2,600 – $2,790

Shift : 8-hour day shifts (5x8hr : 7 : 00am–3 : 30pm or 7 : 30am–4 : 00pm) or 4x10hr shifts (6 : 30am–5 : 00pm)

On-Call Requirement : 12–15 days per month, every other weekend (minimum 10 days / month)

Cath Lab Technologist Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of recent experience as a Cath Lab Technologist or Interventional Radiology Technologist

Active Delaware state license as a Radiology Technologist or Registered Cardiovascular Technologist (or eligibility for licensure)

Current ARRT certification

Active ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association)

Experience assisting with 3–4 cardiac procedures per day

Proficiency with Toshiba / Canon imaging equipment and Merge hemodynamics systems

Strong communication, organizational, and interpretive skills

Ability to read and communicate effectively in English

Must reside more than 100 miles from Seaford, DE (travel healthcare requirement)

Cath Lab Technologist Responsibilities

Assist with care of patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab

Scrub on diagnostic and interventional cardiac cases with physicians

Utilize computerized documentation systems for accurate clinical records

Organize workflow and adapt to changing schedules and priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, patients, and families

Report Cath Lab results and patient conditions to medical and nursing staff

Supervise Cath Lab traffic in the absence of the manager or lead technologist

Provide compassionate care and support to cardiac patients and their families

Stay current with evolving Cath Lab technologies and clinical methodologies
