Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $2,849 per week in Baltimore, MD

Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : Nursing Specialty : Labor and Delivery Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day Hours per Shift : 12 hours Experience : - 3 years of experience required - May consider 2 years License : - Current state license required Certifications : - BLS - NRP - C-EFM through NCC Must-Have : - Experience in antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and couplet care required - Experience circulating for C-section Description : Registered Nurse needed in Labor and Delivery. The position offers either a 3x12 or 4x12 schedule. Day shift from 07 : 00 to 19 : 30. Patient ratio is 1 : 1. Local candidates accepted within 60 miles. Certifications preferred include ACLS, STABLE, and AWHONN. Every other weekend requirement is expected. Will be floated to postpartum and couplet care, as well as feeder / grower assignments in the Level II NICU. Proven skills in triage, performing sterile vaginal exams, and experience in a Baby Friendly hospital are highly preferred. This facility requires all employees to have the flu vaccine. The unit is Magnet certified. The charting system used is Cerner. Daily census involves a variety of patient diagnoses including hypertensive disorders in pregnancy and gestational diabetes.
