Job description

A company is looking for a Senior SQL Server Database Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

Manage, maintain, and optimize SQL Server instances across various environments

Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and conduct query optimization

Support engineering teams with application / database integration and troubleshoot SQL performance issues

Qualifications

5-7+ years of experience as a SQL Server DBA or Database Engineer

Expert-level experience with SQL Server 2016+

Hands-on experience with HA / DR technologies

Experience supporting customer-facing SaaS or high-availability applications preferred

Familiarity with Azure SQL or cloud database operations is a plus
