Caregiver / CNA

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to nursing staff and assist in delivering high-quality care to patients. This role is crucial in ensuring that patients receive the attention and assistance they need during their recovery or daily living activities. The Nursing Assistant will work in various settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, and medical offices, providing care to individuals with diverse needs.

• Responsibilities
• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.
• Help with mobility by assisting patients in moving from one location to another.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in patient areas by following infection control protocols.
• Document patient care activities accurately in medical records using systems like Cerner.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to implement patient care plans effectively.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, especially those with developmental disabilities or in pediatric settings.
• Participate in emergency procedures as needed, particularly in settings such as Level I Trauma Centers or ICUs.
• Skills
• Experience or training in Pediatrics, PICU, or Emergency Medicine is preferred.
• Familiarity with medical records management and documentation processes.
• Ability to work effectively in a Nursing Home or Medical Office environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
• Knowledge of basic nursing procedures and patient care techniques.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently.
• Compassionate attitude towards working with individuals with developmental disabilities.

Pay : $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
