Travel Nurse RN - Cardiovascular Operating Room - $2,716 per week in Madison, WI

Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : Nursing Specialty : Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Duration : 17 weeks Shift : Day Hours per Shift : 12 Hours (06 : 30 - 19 : 00) Experience : Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in the specialty. License : Must have a valid nursing license. Certifications : BLS and ACLS must be certified through the American Heart Association only. Must-Have : Experience in Cardiothoracic Surgery and / or Acuity Adaptable area. Must have completed two years of acute care experience. Description : This position requires experience in Cardiothoracic Surgery. The role involves working day and evening shifts, typically Monday through Friday. Hours may vary, commonly 06 : 30 to 19 : 00, with a potential shift of 09 : 40 to 22 : 10. There will be weekday and weekend call responsibilities. Patients in this unit include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The individual will perform various surgical procedures, including but not limited to : Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair, Amputations, Aortic Aneurysm repair, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), Mitral valve replacement, and Thoracotomy. Travelers may need to float to other units as required based on staffing needs. Weekend rotations and some holidays will be required. A telemetry exam will be required prior to starting. Candidates must have active telemetry competency on file. Pass / fail testing will have strict passing criteria. Submission without references is required.
