We're seeking a Maintenance A Technician who's ready to be part of a company committed to formulating everyday success for every customer through innovative, reliable products used to adhere, seal, and protect at every level of the building envelope.
ABOUT THE ROLE
\n
The Maintenance Technician position supports the plant by checking, inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, replacing, and maintaining industrial manufacturing equipment.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
\n
\n
- Perform periodic, scheduled inspections and checks of equipment to determine whether failures or issues are present and determine how soon the corrections / adjustments may need to be made.
\n
Assemble and disassemble machines to make repairs, perform inspections, and replace with new items while maintaining safety and production goals in mind\n
Troubleshoot equipment to identify root cause(s) and suggest appropriate follow-up actions\n
Identify failed components and determine necessary replacement parts\n
Interact directly with production and other plant teammates in a professional manner\n
Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to receive work instructions, identify parts that belong to machines, and fully document work performed\n
Comply with all safety and environmental protocols relating to operations\n
Locate spare parts in the storeroom and follow stock check-out processes\n
Maintain a dedicated toolbox and shared maintenance tools and supplies in an organized manner so that materials can be accessed quickly and reliably\n
Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.\n \n
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
\n \n
Five or more years' experience in an industrial environment as a maintenance employee performing Preventive (planned) and Corrective (unplanned) Maintenance\n
Knowledge of and experience working in all the following areas : \n \nMechanical
Power Transmission - chains, belts, gearboxes, bearings, brakes, couplings, etc.Lubrication - oils, greases, storage and handling, application, etc.Hydraulics & Pneumatics - valves, actuators, compressors and pumps, piping and tubing, etc.\n
ElectricalDC Circuits - relays, contactors, power supplies, etc.AC Circuits (120V to 480V) - motors, drives, transformers, etc.\n
Process ControlIndustrial Automation - robotics, PID, machine control, etc.PLCs & Networking - communication, signals, I / O, LANs, etc.\n \n
\n
Associate's degree or 2+ years of vocational training\n
Experience with maintenance technologies such as Vibration Analysis, Thermography, Ultrasound Inspection, Oil Analysis, and Precision Alignment\n
Certifications in mechanical / industrial fields (electrician, millwright, welding, etc.)\n
Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician (CMRT)\n

Working Conditions
\n
The working conditions include an indoor, dusty, non-temperature-controlled, industrial manufacturing and warehouse environment. Subject to varying cold and hot temperatures and occasional outdoor activities in hot or adverse weather.
Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, including the use of lifting assistance devices\n
Ability to stand for an extended period of time\n
Ability to bend, stoop, reach, twist, squat, and kneel as required\n
Ability to operate mobile equipment as required\n
This position has the potential to manage and handle hazardous materials and hazardous waste\n \n
