LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Niles, Michigan.

Job Description & Requirements

• Specialty : PACU - Post Anesthesia Care

• Shift : 8 hours, days
• Employment Type : Travel
• Job Specific Information :  Preop / Postop / PACU RN - They need to be proficient in all three areas including OR and Endoscopy patients
• Shift Time :  Flex shifts daily, 8 hr. scheduled shift starting at either 0600, 0700, 0800, or 0900

Hours :  0600, 0700, 0800, or 0900

Shift length :  8hrs

Weekend rotation :  Covered with Call

On Call :  Yes, they will be required to do a call weekend coverage rotation approx every 3-4 weekend. We also assign weekday call as well. Total call days 10 in a 6 week schedule with two of those on weekends.

Job Summary : Delivers nursing care responsibly and accountably as described professionally by the American Nurses Association (ANA) and legally by the State of Michigan. Demonstrates competency through the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. This includes assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Upholds the standards of professional performance as described by the ANA. This includes ethical practice, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice and research, quality of practice, professional practice evaluation, resource utilization and environmental health. Strives to achieve optimal outcomes.
