Med Surg / Neuro experience is required.

Description :

This is a contract position for an RN in a medical surgical unit.

The role requires working a 12-hour shift from 07 : 00 to 19 : 00.

No on-call is required.

The unit consists of 34 beds with a staff of 54.

Patient ratios are 1 : 6.

Typical procedures performed on the unit include dialysis, CBI, gastric decompression, and wound care.

Equipment used includes Welch Allyn vital signs monitors, COWs, Hoyer lifts, PCA pumps, and virtual sitters.

The electronic medical record system in use is Meditech.

The ideal candidate should be team-oriented and self-motivated.

Dress code requires navy scrubs, and hoop nose piercings are not allowed.

The unit has multiple award winners based on patient feedback and participation in team recognition programs.
