Physical Medicine & Rehab Physician Locums Job in Washington Beginning December 29 - Ongoing Assignment

Ongoing Assignment

Schedule : 4 days / week; Monday-Thursday; 8 AM - 5 PM or flexible

1 full time + 1 part time provider needed; this will cover one FTE provider

Estimated Credentialing : 90-120 days (Clean history may qualify for expedited privileges)

Requirements

Board Eligible or Board Certified

Washington license or IMLC

BLS

EMR : Epic

Specialty Skills Required

Traction / immobilization devices

Diagnostic / Therapeutic taps : Arthrocentesis

Intra-discal electrothermal annuloplasty (IDET)

Pain Management (acute & chronic) :

Injections (Joint, Trigger point, Blocks, Epidural, Facet #)

Fluoro-guided procedures

Electrical stimulation

Wound debridement

EMG & Nerve Conduction studies

Stress reduction / relaxation training

Medical management

Assignment Details :

Practice Setting : Outpatient

No supervision required

Typical appointment : 1 hour for new patients, 30-45 min for follow-ups, 90 min for some procedures

Not a high-volume clinic; patients per shift : 8-15

Common procedures : Botox for post-stroke, typical rehab / follow-up

Most patients transition from inpatient rehab to this outpatient facility

Support Staff

2 MAs, 1 office staff

Additional support : 5 PM&R physicians available as resources; Neurology practice across the hall
