LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Family Practice PA in Pennsylvania!

About The Position

We are seeking a Family Practice Physician Assistant for a 65-day locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania. This opportunity starts Dec 15, 2025, with full-time day shifts from 7 : 30am to 4 : 00pm, Monday through Friday. The provider will support a medium security facility, offering sick call services, chronic and preventative care, and trauma triage. Prior correctional experience is a plus for this dynamic and impactful role.

Responsibilities and Duties

Conduct sick call and rounding

Manage chronic and preventative care procedures and follow-ups

Operate preventative care clinics

Perform infirmary rounds for internal medicine cases as needed

Provide trauma triage services

Complete charting notes and documentation

Handle medication refills

Participate in morning PA / NP lines (suture removal, follow ups, etc)

Address patient medication non-compliance

Additional Information

Must hold active Pennsylvania PA license

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Correctional experience is a plus

Experience with EMR systems preferred
