Architectural Designer

Onsite — Nashua, NH (Applicant must be local to NH or MA)

Making Architecture is a design-forward studio focused on thoughtful, human-centered work across residential, commercial, and adaptive reuse projects. We are seeking a talented Architectural Designer to join our growing team and contribute to all phases of design, documentation, and project coordination.

About the Role

The Architectural Designer will support project teams throughout the complete architectural process—from concept design through construction administration. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and thrives in a collaborative environment with colleagues, consultants, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

Design + Documentation (SD, DD, CD)

• Develop design concepts, diagrams, models, and visual presentations
• Produce coordinated plans, elevations, sections, and details
• Conduct planning studies, occupancy analyses, and code research
• Prepare construction documents and assist with specifications
• Maintain Revit models, drawing standards, and sheet organization
