About the Role
The Company is seeking an Interim Senior Construction Counsel to join their legal team. The successful candidate will be a hands-on construction / infrastructure attorney with a minimum of five years' experience in a large law firm and / or in-house legal department, specifically with a focus on construction and infrastructure projects. The role is remote and requires a professional who is energetic, results-focused, and solutions-oriented, and who enjoys working in a collaborative team environment. Key responsibilities for the Interim Senior Construction Counsel include the drafting, review, and negotiation of complex procurement and project delivery agreements across various construction and infrastructure procurement types. This encompasses a wide range of agreements, from standard contracts to those specific to P3 and other specialized structures. The role also involves coordinating with deal teams on financing agreements, supporting the creation and maintenance of SPVs and JVs, and creating legal templates and playbooks for business enablement. The ideal candidate will have a Juris Doctor from an accredited law school, be an active member of a state bar, and have a strong background in construction and infrastructure law, including experience with heavy civil, transportation, and P3 projects.
