LocumJobsOnline is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Hematology and Oncology NP in Ashtabula, Ohio, 44004!

About The Position

📝 Description :

Join a well-established Hematology / Oncology team as a full-time NP / PA. Serve a diverse patient base in outpatient and hospital settings, managing oncology and hematology cases with strong physician collaboration in a growing community hospital affiliated with a major health system.

📋 Job Responsibilities :

Manage 15-20 outpatients and 3-5 inpatient visits daily

Participate in tumor board meetings and coordinate patient care

Perform chemotherapy administration, biopsies, and catheter management

Order tests, images, and prescribe treatments following protocols

Provide on-call coverage approx. 10 days / month (including some weekends)

Document thoroughly in EPIC EMR system

⏰ Working Hours :

Day shifts (schedule negotiable) plus on-call duties approx. 10 days / month including weekends

💡 Skills :

Proficiency in outpatient and inpatient Hem / Onc care

Strong clinical and procedural skills (FNA, biopsy, chemo administration)

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Experience with EPIC EMR preferred

Job Requirements

🎓 Qualifications :

Board Certified NP or PA in Hematology / Oncology

Ohio license (or willingness to obtain)

ACLS and BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)

DEA license obtained prior to start

Minimum 1 year Hem / Onc NP / PA clinical experience (non-RN / general practice)

Willing to relocate or live within 40-mile radius
