Pay Information $1,794 per week About The Position Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : Nursing Specialty : Medical Surgical Duration : 6 Weeks Shift : Night Hours per Shift : 12 Experience : Minimum 2 years License : GA or Compact License required Certifications : ACLS, BLS Must-Have : - Prior charge experience - Patient ratio experience of 6 - Charting system experience (Epic) - Travel experience required Description : General medical / surgical unit serving a primarily geriatric population. Diagnosis varies on a day-to-day basis. Every other weekend is required. No call responsibilities exist. Floating within the facility / scope of practice is expected as needed. Full compliance is required before starting on time. If not compliant, a two-week delay may occur due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule. If one major holiday falls during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays occur, the traveler is expected to work both. If three major holidays occur, the traveler is expected to work two of them. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving / Black Friday, Christmas Eve / Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve / New Year’s Day. Two supervisory references are highly preferred for submission. Candidates must be available to submit core items and complete scheduled labs within 48 hours of signing the contract.
