Responsibilities

What You Will Do

• Cleans assigned areas of the facility according to instructions daily.
• Dust furniture and shelves using feather dusters, clean dry rags, dust treatment liquid, and dust mops with heads that can be laundered.
• Sweeps areas inside and outside of the facility. Ensures that all debris is collected and placed into plastic trash bags.
• Scrubs and spot clean vinyl tile floors in the facility, being careful not to remove the wax finish.
• Spot cleans facility carpets and upholstery.
• Damp mops and wet-mop floors, including stairs, ensuring that mops and mop pails are clean before using them.
• Disinfects shower walls, bathtubs, basins, vanities, and bathroom floors.
• Disinfects commodes and urinals while strictly adhering to mandatory codes of dress (rubber gloves, etc.) and using prescribed cleaners and disinfectants only.
• Executes "garbage runs" throughout the facility and empties garbage pails, making sure that recycling procedures are complied with.
