About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Development to lead the full spectrum of utility-scale solar and storage project development within the ERCOT region. This senior leadership role is pivotal in driving initiatives from origination to commercial operation, with a strong focus on maintaining the integrity, innovation, and technical excellence that the organization is known for. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of project development, including land acquisition, permitting, environmental studies, and stakeholder engagement. They will also be tasked with managing internal teams and external consultants, coordinating with regulatory agencies, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Applicants for the Vice President of Development position at the company should have a background in utility-scale solar or hybrid project development, with a proven track record of success in the ERCOT market. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field is required, and experience in managing cross-functional teams is desirable. The role demands an individual with a strong knowledge of Texas-specific interconnection, land, and permitting processes, as well as an organized, proactive, and entrepreneurial mindset. The Vice President will also be expected to collaborate with executive leadership on pipeline strategy, risk management, and support M&A and financing processes. Experience in WECC, MISO, or SPP markets is a nice-to-have.
