Position Overview

The Program Manager leads the planning, execution, and delivery of key strategic programs and projects that advance Bishop-Wisecarver’s business objectives. This role ensures cross-functional alignment, consistent project management practices, and successful delivery of initiatives that drive growth, innovation, and operational excellence.

This individual will serve as a central point of coordination between departments, balancing strategic oversight with hands-on leadership to ensure clarity, accountability, and impact across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Align projects and programs with Bishop-Wisecarver’s strategic goals, ensuring priorities are clear and resources are focused on what matters most.
  • Lead the development and implementation of consistent project management processes, tools, and standards.
  • Oversee program performance, leveraging metrics to track progress against requirements, timelines, budgets, and outcomes.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and barriers to ensure timely and effective delivery.
  • Provide regular, transparent updates to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Mentor and guide project and program managers to build organizational capability and a culture of ownership.
  • Coordinate resource allocation and manage project budgets to optimize efficiency and results.
  • Foster collaboration across departments, ensuring smooth communication and alignment between engineering, operations, sales, and leadership teams.
  • Promote continuous improvement and learning across all levels of project execution.
  • Ensure programs and projects meet Bishop-Wisecarver’s quality and performance standards.

Qualifications & Experience

We’re looking for a leader who is both a strategic thinker and a hands-on problem solver — someone who thrives on bringing structure to complexity and empowering teams to deliver meaningful results.

Required :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Business Administration, or Project Management with at least 10 years of relevant experience; or a Master’s degree with at least 8 years of experience.
  • Proven success leading complex, multi-year programs in a technical or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and align diverse teams.
  • Demonstrated analytical and decision-making ability using data to drive performance.
  • Excellent technical presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience with agile and hybrid project management methodologies.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard project management tools and reporting systems.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High initiative and accountability, with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Preferred :

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or PgMP (Program Management Professional) certification.
  • Experience leading PMOs or large-scale organizational change initiatives.
