This opportunity is ideal for individuals interested in contributing to our team as a Data Governance Analyst intern within State Street's Global Technology Services organization. Our technology function, Global Technology Services (GTS), is vital to State Street and is the key enabler for our business to deliver data and insights to our clients. What You Will Do :

In this role, you will perform the following day-to-day activities :

Execute processes to monitor adherence of data standards, policies, and procedures to ensure Enterprise Data Catalog is accurately maintained by data stewards in accordance with defined standards

Review data quality exceptions and issues.

Support data quality improvement initiatives to ensure effective tracking, reporting and timeline remediation of Data Quality exceptions or issues

Execute spot checks to review and verify metadata documentation and data lineage in the enterprise data catalog

Monitor and resolve data governance-related issues

Provide training and support on governance practices

Education and Preferred Qualifications :

Candidates should be :

Final-year undergraduate or graduate students pursuing degrees in Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical disciplines who are interested in converting to a full-time role post-graduation

Enthusiastic about building a long-term career in a dynamic, technology-driven organization

Effective communicators with the ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment

Open to feedback and committed to continuous learning and improvement

Salary Range :

$41,600 - $65,000 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
