Job description

Role : Tax Senior Accountant

Location : Akron, Ohio

Schedule : (Hybrid Work Environment)

Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Tax Senior Accountant to join our client. This role offers a flexible, hybrid work environment, allowing for a balance between office and remote work. The Tax Senior Accountant is a key member of a professional client service team, participating in tax engagements and establishing close working relationships with client management. This position also provides an opportunity to develop supervisory skills and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform fieldwork during tax engagements.
  • Establish and maintain working relationships with client management.
  • Develop supervisory knowledge and experience through hands-on project involvement.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance in all tax-related matters.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Accounting.
  • 3-6 years of public accounting experience.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and strong organizational abilities.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Basic knowledge of operating systems.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • CPA designation preferred but not required.
