Job descriptionLicensed in Colorado by the Board of Nursing in good standing with a focus in psychiatry. Licensed by the Colorado Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances (possession of a DEA) Possession of Malpractice Insurance if Independent Contractor (offered by the company for W2 employees) 1 year of Geri Psych Experience. 1 year providing treatment within Skilled Nursing Facilities and / or Acute Rehab Hospitals. Basic computer knowledge. Excellent written communication. Attention to detail. Strong interpersonal skills. Flexible, organized, and functions under stressful situations. Fluency in Spanish is a plus. Generous base salary (base begins following the initial 30-day orientation and training period) with monthly incentives. Flexible scheduling – see patients on your time. Behavioral Health Solutions is looking for qualified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP, FNP, AGNP, PA-C) to join our Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Psychiatry team in Colorado . Our team of mental health treatment professionals specialize in providing comprehensive behavioral health services to the underserved geriatric population residing in Skilled Nursing and Long Term Care facilities.

Responsibilities :
- Provide face-to-face psychiatric services to patients directly in Skilled Nursing Facilities.
- Assess the patient's mental status based on symptoms.
- Appropriately diagnose DSM-V disorders and develop treatment plans.
- Apply appropriate medical decision-making skills for mental health issues including psychopharmacology options and non-pharmacological treatments.
- Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists.
