Med / Surg RN Job Details Location : Hermitage, TN 37076 (Nashville area) Unit : Medical-Surgical (Med / Surg), 33 beds Assignment Type : Travel nursing assignment Start Date : December 1, 2025 End Date : March 2, 2026 Duration : 13 weeks Hours per Week : 36 hours Shift : 12-hour day shifts (7 : 00 AM - 7 : 00 PM) Schedule : Every other weekend required Estimated Weekly Salary : $1,440 - $1,550 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee or compact state Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg nursing experience BLS certification from the American Heart Association Strong clinical assessment and IV skills Experience with Meditech documentation system preferred Ability to float to other appropriate hospital units as needed Med / Surg RN Responsibilities Provide high-quality, compassionate care to medical-surgical patients Administer medications, manage IVs, and operate clinical equipment (Kangaroo pumps, SCDs) Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including 3 techs per shift and unit secretaries Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Meditech Participate in unit rotation and float to other nursing units as required Uphold hospital policies, patient safety standards, and positive patient experiences Join our healthcare team in Hermitage, TN, and make a difference in patient care.
