They are looking for someone with a strong dev background and be able to jump in writing component tests and testing the system holistically. Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a W2 basis. W2 / ph3Responsibilities / h3ulliCompile a list of endpoints, producers, and consumers within our systems and their interactions. / liliAnalyze the functionality of these contracts to understand their role in the system. / liliDevelop detailed test cases to cover various scenarios, edge cases. / liliEngage with the engineering team to present and refine test cases based on feedback. / liliWrite automated test cases to efficiently execute the defined scenarios. / liliHelp incorporate automated test frameworks into CD pipelines / liliProvide test reporting metrics to assess the effectiveness of testing strategies and support continuous improvement. / li / ulh3Experience Requirements / h3ulliExperience automating testing of REST API and Kafka contracts / liliExperience with event processing mechanisms such as Kafka / liliExperience testing microservices / liliHands-on development experience in one or more back-end object-oriented programming languages (preferably C# and TypeScript) / liliExperience with testing frameworks like Playwright / liliExperience with Contract Testing (using Pact) / liliExperience with automating tests (load, API, integration, functional) within CI / CD pipelines / liliExperience with load testing, preferably with JMeter and / or BlazeMeter / li / ulh3Education Requirements / h3pRelevant Bachelors Degree and 7 years of relevant industry, or Relevant Masters Degree plus 4 years of relevant industry, or 11 years of practical experience. Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate.
