Lead Teacher Key Responsibilities :
Curriculum and Instruction :Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
Foster a love of learning through creative and engaging teaching methodsObserve and assess children's development and adjust activities accordinglyClassroom Management :Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
Manage daily routines and transitions smoothlyAddress behavioral issues with positive guidance and supportFamily Communication :Maintain open and effective communication with parents / guardians regarding their child's progress and daily activities
Conduct parent-teacher conferences and provide regular updatesEncourage family involvement and participation in school activitiesHealth and Safety :Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the classroom and common areas
Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and proceduresSupervise children during indoor and outdoor activities to ensure their safety and well-beingProfessional Development :Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities
Stay current with best practices in early childhood educationCollaborate with other teachers and staff to share ideas and strategiesWhat We Offer (varies by location) :

High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferredChild Development Associate (CDA) preferred1-2 years of previous experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting preferredHas successfully completed state-required pre-service trainingDevelops relationships and communicate effectively with children, parents, and faculty membersAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of childrenCPR / First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)A flexible, team-first attitude and a passion for working with children and familiesIf you're ready to make a lasting impact and grow your career in a supportive, child-focused environment, wed love to hear from you.
