About The Position

Job Title : MRI Technologist

Hours per Shift : 10 hours

Experience : Minimum of 1 year as an MRI Technologist in an outpatient or hospital setting.

License : Must have state license.

Certifications : Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Advanced certification from ARRT is preferred.

Must-Have : Proficiency in IV starts, phlebotomy, PACS, and contrast administration. Experience with Siemens MRI equipment is required.

Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MRI Technologist.

Join our newly opened Outpatient Oncology Center.

The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art imaging technology, including MRI scanners, CT scanners, X-ray units, and C-arm for surgical procedures.

As an MRI Technologist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and accurate imaging services.

You will perform MRI scans on patients across different age groups, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Your responsibilities will include conducting IV starts, obtaining vitals, and screening patients for MRI safety by reviewing patient charts.

You will operate and maintain MRI equipment, ensuring optimal performance and image quality.

Collaboration with healthcare professionals will be essential to ensure accurate patient diagnoses and treatment plans.

Adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work environment will be part of your role.

Strong knowledge of MRI procedures, including abdomen, pelvis, head / neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, diffusion imaging, and perfusion, is necessary.

Familiarity with various MRI techniques, such as gradient echo imaging, spin echo images, T-1 weighted images, and T-2 weighted images, is also required.
